Volleyball Recap: Lake Zurich Bears vs. New Trier Trevians
Lake Zurich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the New Trier Trevians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17.
Lake Zurich's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for New Trier, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-4.
Lake Zurich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hersey on the 18th. As for New Trier, they will take on Glenbrook South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
