The Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 56-25 loss at the hands of Onekama. Grand Traverse Academy has not had much luck with Onekama recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Grand Traverse Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Anna Hoffman, who scored nine points, and Sadie Brown who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Grand Traverse Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Onekama, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Grand Traverse Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against St. Michael Academy at 5:30 p.m. As for Onekama, they will head out on the road to square off against Glen Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glen Lake presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Onekama in Michigan (Glen Lake is ranked 100th, while Onekama is ranked 226th).
