Softball Recap: Dunkirk Takes a Loss

If Dunkirk was feeling good fresh off their 19-6 takedown of Jamestown on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marauders fell just short of the Lewiston-Porter Lancers by a score of 12-11 on Tuesday.

Camryn Krzanowicz was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Gracie Grann was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Dunkirk's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Lewiston-Porter, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

As of now, neither Dunkirk nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
