Softball Recap: Sweetwater Wildcats vs. Sequoyah Chiefs
Sweetwater entered their matchup against Sequoyah on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 8-2.
Sadie Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.
At the plate, Sweetwater saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Richeson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
