Basketball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Chase Arrington and Luke Mason

Christian Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Faith Christian Warriors, falling 46-26. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-5.

Christian Heritage Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Luke Mason and Chase Arrington. Mason went 6 of 7 en route to 14 points and eight boards, while Arrington posted eight points. The dominant performance also gave Arrington a new career-high in assists (two).

Faith Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Whitmore, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Matthew Burton, who earned 14 points and six boards.

Christian Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Faith Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage Academy will square off against Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Christian, they will face off against Christian Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
