The Freer Buckaroos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against Ben Bolt as Freer made off with a 44-21 win. The result was nothing new for Freer, who have now won four matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
Ben Bolt's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Bernal, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Freer's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ben Bolt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
