Baseball Recap: Ludlow Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ludlow's offense. They came up short against the Villa Madonna Vikings on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Ludlow saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Mays, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Ludlow's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Villa Madonna, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Ludlow Panthers face off against Newport Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Villa Madonna, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Eastern Hancock at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
