Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-County Academy Rebels. The Bruins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Reid Hager and Parker McKenzie stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hager went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI, while McKenzie went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

St. Joseph Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Joseph Catholic will square off against Yazoo County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-County Academy, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Magnolia Heights at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
