St. Raphael Academy dropped their record down to 4-4 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell 10-6 to the Prout Crusaders. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

As for Prout, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For Prout's part, the team relied heavily on Dylan Delgado, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. Jonathan Kent also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Coming up, St. Raphael Academy will host Mt. Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prout, they will venture away from home to square off against Cranston East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
