Basketball Recap: Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers vs. Forest Hills Rangers
Westmont Hilltop and Forest Hills squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Westmont Hilltop had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 75-47 loss at the hands of the Forest Hills Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, with their most recent loss being a 79-47 defeat on February 7th.
Forest Hills found their leader in sophomore Dylan Stohon, who went 7-for-9 en route to 17 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds. The contest was Stohon's 22nd in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Gregovich, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 18 points and seven boards.
Westmont Hilltop's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Forest Hills, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.
