There's no place like home for Hauppauge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let the Northport Tigers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Hauppauge's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Northport, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hauppauge will host Eastport-South Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northport, they will take on Newfield at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
