Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-2 to the Lincoln Golden Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

First Assembly Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

First Assembly Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Assembly Christian will head out to take on Northpoint Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
