Volleyball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Corry

Warren faced Corry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Dragons fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 1-0. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Beavers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Madelyn Nosel paced Warren's offense, picking up seven kills. Nosel got some help from Brynn Norris and her nine assists.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 29-5-5. As for Corry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 37-1-7.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Cochranton on the 18th. As for Corry, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Maplewood on the 18th.
