Softball Recap: Easley Comes Up Short

Easley lost against Hillcrest back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Wave took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Easley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camora Little, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Journey Price, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hillcrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Easley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-6 victory against Liberty on the 4th. As for Hillcrest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 win against Riverside on the 2nd.
