Volleyball Game Preview: Sacred Heart Gremlins vs. Cole Camp Blue Birds

The Sacred Heart Gremlins will face off against the Cole Camp Blue Birds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Sacred Heart beat Windsor 3-1.

Sacred Heart walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 25-10.

Sacred Heart relied on the efforts of Sophie Hesse, who had 23 digs and five kills, and Maggie Van Leer, who had six digs, six aces, and three blocks. Those five kills gave Hesse a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Sacred Heart was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Cole Camp made easy work of Tipton on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Sacred Heart has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Cole Camp, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2.
