Baseball Recap: Miami Trace Comes Up Short

Miami Trace lost against Jackson back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ironman/Ironladies. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Miami Trace saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin T Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Miami Trace and nudges their season record down to 14-3. As for Jackson, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 17-0.

Miami Trace has already played their next contest (against Waynesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jackson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 loss against Athens on the 10th.
