Basketball Recap: Iredell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Three Way last Tuesday, Iredell came back down to earth. The Iredell Dragons lost to the Walnut Springs Hornets at home by a 49-32 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Iredell's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Walnut Springs, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bluff Dale the next time they take the court. Walnut Springs will host Bluff Dale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Iredell will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
