Siegel has gone 9-1 against Blackman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Stars will challenge the Blaze at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Siegel and three for Blackman.

Siegel fell victim to Gordonsville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Stars haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, Blackman suffered their closest defeat since March 25th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Rockvale by a score of 7-5.

Sophia Compton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. Addison Wyatt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Blackman's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Siegel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1.

Siegel couldn't quite get it done against Blackman when the teams last played on April 8th as they fell 14-11. Can the Stars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
