Football Game Preview: Union Bobcats vs. Powder Valley Badgers + How To Watch

The Union Bobcats will venture away from home to take on the Powder Valley Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Powder Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Union, who comes in off a win.

Union took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Prairie City/Burnt River 48-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bobcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Prairie City/Burnt River are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Powder Valley's offense. They were beaten by Adrian 48-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Badgers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Powder Valley moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Union beat Powder Valley 36-26 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
