Basketball Recap: Terrell County Gets the Win

Terrell County won the last time they faced Quitman County, and Cordarius Perry did his part to make sure it happened again. The Terrell County Greenwave simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Quitman County Hornets 97-68 thanks in part to Perry, who posted 32 points. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least ten points.

Jaylan Hall was another key player, putting up 11 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Terrell County's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Quitman County, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Terrell County will venture away from home to challenge Pelham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quitman County, they will challenge Seminole County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Seminole County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
