Volleyball Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

Selma suffered their biggest defeat since March 13th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Fresno Christian Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

While Selma was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

Selma's record is now 3-6. As for Fresno Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-16 record.

Looking ahead, Selma will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. As for Fresno Christian, they will head out to take on Madera South at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
