Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary's South Side). Everything went their way against the Rolla Bulldogs on Friday as they made off with a 42-21 victory. For the Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 35-31 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Mary's South Side and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games. As for Rolla, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, St. Mary's South Side will take on Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rolla, they will face off against St. Dominic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
