Football Recap: Three Forks Takes Down Baker in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Three Forks had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Baker Spartans 60-22. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Kanon Reichman, who rushed for 274 yards and three scores on only seven carries, and also threw for 126 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Jackson Fanning also helped with three TDs in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Three Forks was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 577 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Three Forks didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gavin Etchison and Fanning.

The win (which was Three Forks' fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.8 points over those games. As for Baker, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Three Forks will take on Florence-Carlton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests. Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
