Baldwinsville has gone 8-2 against Fayetteville-Manlius recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bees will head out on the road to square off against the Hornets at 11:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Baldwinsville didn't have quite enough to beat Central Catholic and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville-Manlius might've scored the first runs two weeks ago, but it was East Syracuse-Minoa who claimed the real prize. The Hornets fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 8-7. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fayetteville-Manlius saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Arthur, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Baldwinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Baldwinsville took their win against Fayetteville-Manlius in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
