Volleyball Recap: Pepperell's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pepperell had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Trion Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Piper Hillis paced Pepperell's offense, picking up seven kills. Hillis got some help from Hannah Smith and her eight assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Pepperell now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Trion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Pepperell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Northwest Whitfield on the 23rd. Trion has also already played their next game (against Chattooga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
