Basketball Recap: Antonito Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lake City Community last Wednesday, Antonito came back down to earth. The Antonito Trojans fell 32-25 to the Moffat Cowboys on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost seven in a row.

Moffat got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kandra Pollard out in front who posted 16 points along with eight boards and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pollard has scored at least a third of Moffat's points. Another player making a difference was Shauna Pollard, who put up nine points and seven steals.

Antonito's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Moffat, their record is now 8-12.

As of now, neither Antonito nor Moffat have any future games scheduled.
