Baseball Recap: Goliad Takes a Loss

Goliad suffered their biggest loss since February 24, 2024 on Monday. They lost 11-1 to the Hallettsville Brahmas. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brahmas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Goliad saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Caka, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Caka has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Goliad has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Hallettsville pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
