Volleyball Recap: Scotus Wins Going Away Against Wakefield

Scotus saw some tournament action on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wakefield Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Lola Doerneman paced Scotus' offense, picking up nine kills. Doerneman got some help from Bella Hutchinson and her 25 assists. Brooke Krienke controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Scotus' victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Wakefield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 19 of their last 21 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-26 record this season.

Scotus will take on Battle Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
