Baseball Recap: Scranton Comes Up Short

Scranton was the 5-3 winner over North Pocono when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scranton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base was Thomas' first of the season.

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North Pocono, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Scranton will take on Port Jervis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Pocono, they will face off against Abington Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Comets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
