Basketball Recap: Magnolia Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Magnolia had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Valley Lumberjacks as they made off with a 78-56 victory. The Blue Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was Magnolia's tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
