Football Recap: La Grande Comes Up Short

La Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Burns Hilanders and fell 38-6. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hilanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

La Grande's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burns, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

La Grande and Burns will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time La Grande sees the field they'll take on Ontario at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Burns, their break will end when they face Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
