Volleyball Recap: Pebble Hills Comes Up Short

Pebble Hills lost against El Paso back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Pebble Hills lost, don't look at Raelyn Shaver. Despite the final result, she had 21 assists and 11 digs. Shaver has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lauren Velez, who had 13 digs and two assists.

Pebble Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for El Paso, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pebble Hills will challenge Hanks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Paso, they will welcome Immanuel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
