Softball Recap: Rison Takes a Loss

Rison lost against DeWitt last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 6-3 to the Dragons.

Rison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Hyatt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Claire Socia also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Rison's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for DeWitt, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rison will take on rival McGehee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeWitt is set to square off against their familiar foe Drew Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
