Central Woodstock was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Luray on Tuesday. The Central Woodstock Falcons were the clear victor by a 59-37 margin over the Luray Bulldogs. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Luray lost, don't look at Jae Frye. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points. The dominant performance gave Frye a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Jenkins, who posted ten points.

Central Woodstock's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Luray, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Central Woodstock and Luray should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Central Woodstock will square off against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 224 places (91 vs. 315). Meanwhile, Luray (ranked 133rd) will meet Clarke County (ranked 286th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
