Canyon Crest Academy was the 17-3 winner over Chula Vista when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens fell 7-4 to the Spartans on Wednesday. The Ravens' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alexis McNamee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Canyon Crest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Chula Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon Crest Academy will face off against Oceanside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ravens are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chula Vista, they will challenge Madison at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th.
