Basketball Recap: Fellowship Academy Find Success

While Fellowship Academy has struggled at home with three straight losses, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Bryce Baker. The Fellowship Academy Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Weatherford Christian Lions 59-27 thanks in part to Baker, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high.

Harper Clark was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Fellowship Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Weatherford Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fellowship Academy will challenge Covenant Classical at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weatherford Christian, they will square off against Christian Life Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weatherford Christian is facing Christian Life Preparatory at the right time seeing as Christian Life Preparatory is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
