Football Recap: Antioch Starts Season with Win Against Harlem

Antioch had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Harlem Huskies with a sharp 30-8 victory.

Evie Baronello was a one-woman wrecking crew as she picked up 94 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Reese Queensland made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Antioch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Sasha Johnson and Queensland were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Adesewa Adegboyega got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Antioch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 54-12 win against Regina Dominican on the 27th. As for Harlem, they have also already played their next contest, a 59-0 victory against Belvidere on the 26th.
