Holy Trinity Catholic extends road losing streak to 14

This season hasn't been kind to the Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics, who are still winless after their 14th matchup. They were beaten by Round Rock Christian Academy 87-49 on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Holy Trinity Catholic in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost four in a row.

Leading Round Rock Christian Academy to victory were Tyson Boto and Wes Owens. Boto went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists, while Owens shot 5-for-10 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boto has scored all season. Jordan Greatting was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Holy Trinity Catholic dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-15.

Holy Trinity Catholic will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Live Oak Classical knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully the Celtics likes a good challenge. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
