Softball Recap: Braddock Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Braddock lost 19-2 to South Broward. The matchup marked Braddock's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Emely Ramirez and Emily Cancio did some serious damage despite the final result: Ramirez went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base, while Cancio went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Cancio is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Braddock is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. As for South Broward, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Braddock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 victory against South Dade on the 9th. As for South Broward, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 loss against Schoolhouse Prep on the 9th.
