Preview: Fairland Owls vs. Colcord Hornets
The Fairland Owls will play host again and welcome the Colcord Hornets, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colcord took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairland, who comes in off a win.
Fairland scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 67-19 victory over Oaks-Mission. That 48 points margin sets a new team best for Fairland this season.
Colcord suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Bristow on the road and fell 83-40. While losing is never fun, Colcord can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while Bristow is ranked 113th).
Fairland's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Colcord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
