Basketball Recap: Seiling Comes Up Short

Seiling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-45 bruising from the Alva Goldbugs. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Goldbugs from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Seiling's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Alva, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Seiling and Duke will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Alva, they will venture away from home to challenge Mangum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
