Basketball Recap: Cerro Gordo/Bement Takes a Loss

Cerro Gordo/Bement was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Sullivan Redskins, falling 53-16. The contest marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cerro Gordo/Bement's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Sullivan, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Cerro Gordo/Bement will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Sullivan, they will square off against Argenta-Oreana at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
