Basketball Recap: Potterville Comes Up Short

Potterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perry Ramblers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 67-50 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Potterville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Potterville and Perry could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Potterville (ranked 559th) will meet Pewamo-Westphalia (ranked 75th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Perry will square off against Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 367 places (462 vs. 95).
