Football Recap: Dora Comes Up Short at Home Against Minor + How To Watch

Dora unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Minor Tigers on Friday, falling 46-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 47-15 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Minor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tommie Burts, who threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes. Trey Hurth helped Burts out on the ground, rushing for 103 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dora will challenge Corner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minor, they will take on Paul W. Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
