Volleyball Recap: St. Paul's Episcopal's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

St. Paul's Episcopal waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Dothan Wolves by a score of 3-1.

St. Paul's Episcopal was led to victory by Kendall Dougherty and Mary Frances Harrison. Dougherty had 17 digs and four aces, while Harrison had five aces. With that strong performance, Dougherty is now averaging an impressive 10 digs per game.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Paul's Episcopal was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

Dothan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Catherine Farmer, who had 34 assists and 20 digs. She has been hot, having posted 19 or more assists the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Colbert, who had 32 digs.

St. Paul's Episcopal's record now sits at 27-15. As for Dothan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 28-16.
