Volleyball Recap: Bourbon Comes Up Short

Bourbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Steelville Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.

Kaylee Enke paced Bourbon's offense, picking up six kills. Enke got some help from Allie Sutton and her seven assists. Kaitlyn King controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bourbon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for Steelville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7-4.

Bourbon has already played their next match (against Dixon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Steelville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bunker on the 16th.
