Philip wins going away against Bennett County

Recap: Philip Scotties vs. Bennett County Warriors
The Philip Scotties took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They were the clear victor by a 47-22 margin over Bennett County. That's another feather in the cap for Philip, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Philip was led to victory by Drew Terkildsen and Josie Jones. Terkildsen scored 15 points along with 6 steals, while Jones scored 11 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. Fayth Martin was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Philip's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bennett County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Philip will head out on the road to face off against Stanley County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bennett County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lead-Deadwood at 6:00 p.m.
