Castaic won the last time they faced Burbank and things went their way on Friday too. The Castaic Coyotes walked away with a 3-1 win over the Burbank Bulldogs.

The victory didn't come easy: Burbank scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-28, 25-21, 25-21.

Castaic's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Burbank, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castaic will head out to challenge Valencia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burbank, they will venture away from home to take on Crescenta Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Crescenta Valley's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
