Basketball Game Preview: Pagosa Springs Pirates vs. Glenwood Springs Demons

The Pagosa Springs Pirates and the Glenwood Springs Demons will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

Pagosa Springs' tournament run continued when they took on Montrose on Thursday. Pagosa Springs took a 53-35 bruising from Montrose. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Red Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenwood Springs). They pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over Pueblo Central on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Demons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Glenwood Springs' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Pagosa Springs, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.
