Softball Game Preview: Glendale Cardinals vs. Tempe Buffaloes

The Glendale Cardinals will take on the Tempe Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Glendale's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to Bourgade Catholic, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tempe also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 26-0 to Crismon last Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Buffaloes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tempe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
